Advocacy

We organized from 2018 through 2022 to pull together the priorities listed below. We came away from this latest round of negotiations with big wins for SSPs & Special Educators! Check out our 2022-25 DCTA-DPS Collective Bargaining Agreement to see the language. We know the work is never done. What do you want to see in the next round?? How do you plan to see it through?

Our SSP & Special Educator organizing leaders are always working to incorporate our member voices to ensure our priorities reflect common goals. Share your voice by completing surveys, reaching out to an organizing leader, and joining our virtual meetings and listening sessions.
